Home Inspections: Let's Talk Money

Updated: Nov 18, 2021

If you were to compare our pricing to most home inspectors, I think you would find that even just stand-alone, our pricing is very competitive. But then when you compare us - when you consider all of the extra value that we add to both the realtor and their client, there’s really not much competition. We’ve always tried to keep pricing very fair, so that it is affordable for almost everyone, our inspectors are fairly compensated, and the franchise owner can continue to run a profitable business. Unlike a standalone home inspector who is setting the price is based on what they think they can get, our pricing is based so that is affordable for most everyone, our inspectors are fairly compensated, and the franchise owner can continue to run a profitable business. Unlike a stand-alone home inspector who is setting the price is based on what they think they are worth, our pricing is based on the house, and the needs of the house, not the needs of the inspector. We haven’t seen a time where we don’t have the lowest published prices. And most inspectors don’t have published pricing… why?

Depending on where you’re at in the country, our base pricing starts at either $250 or $300, and this would be for houses on this under 1000 ft.² and then our pricing only goes up $25 for every 500 ft.² this means that the bigger the house, the more that needs to be inspected, the higher the price point.

With regards to all of our additional services, we take the same approach trying to keep everything as affordable as possible. The biggest expense with most of these services is the driving around and the time it takes, so clients receive significant discounts by bundling items by getting additional services done at the same time as the home inspection.
